Digitalis purpurea alba is a rarely offered white form of the species that looks terrific naturalized in woodland gardens. It is a biennial or short-lived perennial native to Europe. The plant can grow to 4 feet tall. Excellent cut flower if picked when half-open. It features 2-3 inch long, pendulous, pure white flowers on long spikes in late Spring and Summer. A rare and unusual colour. Attractive rosettes of large leaves are produced in the first year and the tall spikes of flowers the second year.
